Updated: Dec 10, 2024

Adelaide House residents contributed to the 2024 Prisons Week Lecture by sharing their thoughts on compassion in the criminal justice system.

Six current residents considered what compassion means to them and shared their experiences of compassion in prison and at Adelaide House. The resulting film was well received by attendees of the afternoon event for the 2024 Prisons Week Lecture which considered compassion on a walk through the criminal justice system. A former police officer, a current magistrate, a Probation Officer from Drake Hall female prison and the current Head of Sefton Probation Delivery Unit also shared their perspective.
